Japan’s very own Toyota Corolla

The Corolla was introduced in the 1960s and it’s developed a reputation in Europe and America as well as Asia, and it’s definitely widely known as one of the most popular Japanese cars on the market.

The new model is sleek in its appearance, while it’s classed as a compact car but the size has changes somewhat over the years. Today it’s sharp and it has a certain Civic feel about it, yet it had an Escort feel in the 1980s. Some people are now calling the Corolla a saloon car, and while it’s attracted many businessmen over the years, it still doesn’t aim to compete with the BMW 5 series, and it isn’t the most powerful compact car on the market.

There’s no doubt about it though, the Corolla is stylish and remarkably comfortable, but it is affordable too and that’s why it’s developed into one of the most popular Japanese cars over the last 50 years.
